1.4I purchased this unit for more money than the competition, tri-pac/carrier.
So far, I am very DISSATISFIED with this unit.
I spent more than 5 days go back to their warehouse to fix problems with the install. First off it would not stay running.
They did a piss poor job on the fuel line tubing. Evidently it has leaks in the welds. I had to route my own fuel line to keep the unit running.
Secondly, the A/C system had a leak. They replaced everything from the compressor all the way to the hvac. To no avail. Finally a tech at T/A put dye in the system and we found the leak in the Hvac. Fixed the leak, it was missing an O ring and recharged the system. It still not cooling worth a crap.
If it is above 75 degrees outside it won’t keep you cool inside.
I am now having to go back to their shop in Indy, to have the alternator replaced. It threw a belt, so I replaced it with one of the 2 they provided. It burnt both the spare belts due to the clutch/bearings being bad. This is all within a 5 week time frame of purchasing the unit.
In my opinion, I would go with the less expensive more dependable competitors and save yourself a lot of remorse.
The reason I went with this unit was because it had a built in A/C compressor and high amp alternator. So far, it was a bad decision on my part. Even with the discount I got through OOIDA, I over payed in my opinion.
