Cost Savings: The TriPace is an electric, battery-based APU system, which means significant savings on fuel. Reduced operation of the tractor engine also delivers cost savings on maintenance.
Clean, Quiet Operation: With no diesel engine, the TriPace runs clean and emission-free, and is significantly quieter than engine-based APU systems as well. As the expert in idle compliance, Thermo King designed the TriPace system to meet anti-idle and anti-emissions regulations nationwide, including CARB requirements.
Reliable Driver Comfort: Thermo King has taken the technology and expertise from the industry-leading TriPac APU system and applied that knowledge to the TriPace, resulting in comfort that drivers can count on.
Unmatched Service & Support: The TriPace system is backed by the Thermo King dealer network, which provides expert installation, factory-certified technicians and genuine OEM parts at over 200 locations across North America.
The TriPace System provides truck cab sleeper compartment climate control and electric power.

5I have had this apu since June 2012. AC works very well and the heat works well also.
I have yet run out of battery power. It runs 15 hrs and still has 1/2 the battery life left. Very
Satisfied with this apu since I owned 2 other apu’s that were diesel I would stay with the
Electric apu for now on do to low operating cost and it is more reliable and effecient over the
diesel versions.
